President, Asia-Pacific
Cyrus Adaggra was appointed as President of Asia-Pacific in December 2024. In this role, Cyrus is responsible for the management, strategy, and growth plan for Equinix in the APAC region to meet the demands of customers and partners in today’s fast-changing technological landscape.
Cyrus joined Equinix in 2021 as Vice President, Corporate Development, Asia-Pacific. During his tenure at Equinix, Cyrus led the company’s market entry into Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines and organic expansions in existing markets across the region.
Cyrus has over 20 years of experience in Mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial strategy, strategy consulting, and corporate development. Before Equinix, he held senior positions at Telstra and Ernst & Young. He led numerous strategic acquisitions, including data center transactions across Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, and Singapore to maximize returns and organizational growth.
Cyrus holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Macquarie University, Australia, and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Senior Vice President of Sales, Asia-Pacific
David Bate is responsible for Equinix’s go to market and sales execution in Asia-Pacific. His focus is on realizing value for our customers through their relationship with Equinix and executing an industry-leading channel strategy with our partners in the region.
David joined Equinix in 2022 with more than 30 years of experience in sales and operational leadership across both mature and emerging IT markets. Prior to joining Equinix, he held senior positions at IBM and VMWare, leading cross-functional teams in sales, technical sales, customer success, and marketing to grow and launch new solutions and offerings.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Canterbury, and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the Victoria University of Wellington.

Managing Director, Equinix Malaysia
Tat Inn Cheam is responsible for driving business growth in Malaysia. He focuses on expanding Platform Equinix® and business ecosystems in Malaysia, supporting customers’ digital transformation and accelerating the country’s digital journey. Tat Inn joined Equinix in 2023 and will lead Equinix’s market entry into Malaysia with its first International Business Exchange® (IBX®) data centers in Johor and Kuala Lumpur.
He has over 30 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industry. Before his tenure at Equinix, Tat Inn held leadership positions at various leading organizations, including SAS, The Center of Applied Data Science (CADS), EMC Corporation, Dataprep Holdings, Sun Microsystems, Nortel Networks, Compaq Computers and IBM.
He holds an MBA from Henley Business School.

Managing Director, Equinix China
Desmond Chen is responsible for leading the company’s business strategy in China. He focuses on supporting digital transformation for businesses in China and their overseas expansion through Platform Equinix®.
Desmond joined Equinix in 2013 as Sales Director in China. In that role, he grew the sales and channel team and built an unparalleled ecosystem of IT, cloud, networks, financial services and enterprises in China. He led the team to accelerate revenue growth and expand customer portfolio in the country.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT and data center industries. Prior to Equinix, he held senior management positions in leading ICT companies, including China Telecom and UNISITI, a joint venture between Shanghai Telecom, AT&T and Shanghai Information Investments. Desmond holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Shanghai University.

Managing Director, Equinix Australia
Guy Danskine is the Managing Director of Equinix Australia, leading the company’s business strategy in the market. He joined Equinix in February 2011 as Global Account Manager in Sydney and most recently served as Senior Director, Strategic Alliances, in San Francisco, where he has been leading a cross-functional team to deepen the company’s partnership with key strategic alliance partners.
Before joining Equinix, Mr Danskine led business development and sales for the service provider sector at Geo Networks in London, which was subsequently acquired by Zayo Networks. Before Geo, he held key leadership and sales roles at Optus and Hutchison Telecoms.
A native Australian, Mr. Danskine possesses more than 20 years of sales and leadership experience in the ICT industry across Asia-Pacific, Europe and the US.

Managing Director, Equinix Hong Kong
Joanne Hon joined Equinix in 2024 as Managing Director of Equinix Hong Kong, leading the company’s business strategy in the market. She focuses on expanding the company’s capacity and digital services to accelerate customers’ digital transformation.
Ms Hon brings to Equinix more than 25 years of extensive financial technology, investment, insurance, legal and professional services experience in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to her role at Equinix, she has held leadership positions at several publicly listed multinational companies and private equity-backed technology firms, including Thomson Reuters, Mercer, Dealogic, CPA Global and Broadridge.
Ms Hon holds a master’s degree in Financial Management from the University of London, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Asian Studies from the University of British Columbia.

Managing Director, Equinix Indonesia
Haris Izmee joined Equinix Indonesia in 2024 and is responsible for accelerating the company’s expansion in the market. He is focused on building and leading a world-class team and driving rapid business growth in Indonesia.
Haris has previously held leadership positions with industry giants such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft. As Managing Director for ASEAN Growth Markets at AWS, he led the company's cloud business across emerging markets, with a primary focus on Indonesia. He was also President Director at Microsoft Indonesia, responsible for the company’s overall growth in the Indonesian market.
In a career spanning nearly 25 years, Haris has spent approximately 14 years in the aerospace industry. This time included business leadership stints across GE Aviation and Panasonic Avionics Corporation and as an aerospace and defense consultant at Frost & Sullivan. Haris holds an aeronautical engineering degree from Queen Mary University of London.

Country Manager, Equinix Korea
Chris Jang joined Equinix in April 2019 as Country Manager of Equinix Korea, leading the company’s business strategy in the Korean market.
Mr. Jang brings to Equinix more than 20 years of industry experience and in-depth knowledge of cloud, software and mobile industries. He has held senior management positions in leading technology and cloud companies, including Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Korea.
Before joining Equinix, Mr. Jang was Head of Google Cloud in Korea, where he successfully drove significant growth of the cloud business in the country. Before that, Mr. Jang was Head of AWS in Korea, Country Manager of Bytemobile (acquired by Citrix) and Sylantro Systems (acquired by BroadSoft) in Korea. He has a proven track record of building teams, formulating sales and go-to-market strategies while establishing strategic channel partnerships and alliances.
Mr Jang holds a master’s degree in aeronautics and astronautics, and bioengineering from the University of Washington, and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Buffalo in the United States.

Yee May Leong is responsible for leading the company’s business strategy in Singapore. She focuses on facilitating digital transformation of businesses to support the government’s plan to establish Singapore as the digital hub in Asia and helping global multinational companies execute their digital strategy in Asia-Pacific and globally.
During her tenure, Yee May has led the team to expand Platform Equinix in Singapore and drive sustainability strategy. As a diversity, inclusion and belonging ally and a global executive sponsor of WeAreEquinix, a company-wide initiative to create a place where our employees can say “I’m safe, I belong and I matter,” she supports equality and underrepresented groups within the company and the local community.
Yee May joined Equinix in 2019 with more than 35 years of ICT experience across Asia-Pacific at leading technology companies, including IBM, Lotus, F5 Networks and Orange Business Services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, with a major in computer science and a minor in management studies, from the University of Waterloo in Canada. She also completed the advanced management program at Harvard Business School.

Kuniko Ogawa is responsible for leading Equinix's business strategy in Japan, leveraging digital infrastructure and supporting the digital transformation of Japanese companies and their overseas expansion.
She has played a key role in the expansion of Equinix's business in Japan with the opening of the first xScale™ data centre in the Asia Pacific region in 2021. Hyperscaler is leading the development of the Osaka campus in the Kansai region to provide optimal solutions in Tokyo and Osaka, as well as building an ecosystem in the Japanese market. She is also a strong advocate of diversity, inclusion and belonging (DIB) and is actively involved in various DIB initiatives, including women's advancement and supporting LGBTQ+ members in the workplace.
Kuniko joined Equinix in 2020 after gaining ICT experience at major companies such as IBM Japan, where she led corporate strategy and outsourcing business as an executive. At Equinix, she serves as the lead business strategist in Japan, focusing on supporting customers in implementing digital transformation and expanding their businesses internationally.

Manoj Paul, Managing Director of Equinix India, is responsible for leading the company’s business strategy in India. In this role, Manoj focuses on expanding Platform Equinix® and business ecosystems in India, ensuring customer success in digital transformation in support of the government’s digital strategy.
Manoj joined Equinix in 2021 following the acquisition of GPX India where he was the Managing Director. He has successfully helped GPX India become India’s most hyperconnected carrier-neutral edge data center with an unparalleled ecosystem of carriers, content providers and cloud service providers. He has more than 25 years of experience in the IT and telecom infrastructure and services industry. Before GPX, he has held senior management positions in leading ICT companies, including, Bharti Airtel where he was the COO for Enterprise Business, Lucent Technologies (acquired by Nokia), HCL and Avaya.
Manoj holds an MBA from the IIM Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Telecommunication from the Jabalpur Engineering College.
